In Person Knowledge Testing and Classes are available today!
Starting in December of 2025, the Winter Park Driving Academy now offers in-person knowledge testing. This service serves as an alternative to knowledge testing at the tax collector's office for any Florida resident regardless of county seeking a learner's permit. Please note that any person over the age of 18 seeking to take the knowledge test may not use the online option do to so, but must take it in person either at a 3rd party testing facility like the Winter Park Driving Academy or at their county tax collector's office. Please contact the WPDA for rates and scheduling.
In April 2026, the Winter Park Driving Academy now offers an in-person DETS Course. This comprehensive course is designed to prepare students with essential traffic safety knowledge, and students will be provided with one attempt at the official knowledge test administered on-site. Please contact the WPDA for more information, or register for our next course.
